An engaging story with a unique premise. The theme behind the story is ambitious and there is a strong emotional underbelly to the story.
Pitch Points
A young boy, Bay, violently looses his parents and his faith in God. At age 40, he is a beach bum who writes a screenplay whenever he needs money. His work is popular in Hollywood as he pokes fun of religion and God. He had never considered that God actually existed until one sunny afternoon when he is snoozing in a hammock tied between two coconut trees. A super- bright sun wakes him and a strong wind throws him from the hammock onto the sand. He looks up to see his long-dead grandfather is in the sky where the sun had been. That is just the beginning of a tortuous twenty-four hour period when he learns that being God isn't easy.
