Pitch Points

A small ferry boat in crystal clear water moves slowly between tropical islands. Aboard is an old man, his dog, a couple snippy women degrading the US president, and Captain Crunch, the driver. The old man is anxious to see an inherited property, the first and only home he ever had. He is work weary and very happy at his retirement. The small island is beautiful, and promises to be a perfect place to rest -- until he meets the inhabitants. Out of fifty families, some are hateful, some are snoops, some are murderous smugglers, some are foolish members of a Hamas cell, and the rest are peaceful beach bums.

Best of all, the island, with it sparse population is well known for being a safe place for families.

MAIN PLAYERS

BAER BAINBRIDGE, 65, a gritty, self assured old timer and former kick-ass CIA operative, newly retired, only wants peace and quiet in his new life, but soon discovers that it is up to him to correct the ills on his slice of paradise.

GRADY, 35, an obnoxious and murderous smuggler is a royal pain to the other islanders.

CARL / ABDUL, 30s, twin brothers are building a Hamas cell on the island. Abdul knows Baer as the Sandman, a notorious enemy of Islam who must be beheaded.

MARTHA, 70. a meddlesome and horny old woman who belongs to the island's snobby bunch, a cliques who view politics as a hobby. She is attracted to Baer, as she was to the man who left the property to him. And that isn't good. She murders her husbands and lovers.

PANAMA, GIGGLES, and CRABBY are divorced middle-aged beach bunnies who add a bit of humor and support for the latest unmarried man on their island.
