• PIRATES GOLD IN LAGOONIEVILLE is a fun action/adventure script that employs an atmospheric setting, colorful characters and dialogue filled with camaraderie, competition and gallows humor to breathe life into a familiar premise. The relationship between the two protagonists is great.  The mixture of camaraderie and competition between these characters is interesting, as is the laughter they seem to find in the most daunting of moments.  It’s been said that BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID is a love story between two men and, to a lesser degree, that’s what this relationship is.  It’s two guys who enjoy a certain lifestyle and find a comrade in the other.

• This is an action-packed thriller with a wide variety of daunting stakes facing the protagonist at every turn.  The story is populated with numerous colorful eccentric characters, and the natural scenery of the Caribbean promises to make this a visually appealing film.

Main Players

SALVAGE TOM, 30, a self employed salvage diver finds a map to a pirates treasure 110 feet below the surface of the Caribbean Sea, chained to a dead man's wrist. Before the Lagoonieville State of Mind took control of his life, he was a NASA scientist, before that, a US Army grunt who lost his penis while in combat.

PAINTER PETE, 30, a self employed boat painter, who was a fighter pilot before Lagoonieville changed him, is talked into helping Tom find the treasure. All he has to invest to be an equal partner is the use of his sailboat to get to the treasure site and furnish all the rum and food needed. Tom, as always, is broke, his boat on the verge of sinking.

HONKY CONCH, 30, a beautiful but wild and wooly hell raising woman with the hots for Tom, is a stowaway on Pete's boat and is not discovered until they are in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. She spends her time flirting with bashful Tom, who is ashamed of his missing man parts.

Antagonists chasing the boys are: Caribbean smugglers GRADY and BILL -- and ALAIN, RANDY and TEX, henchmen for a French mafia boss who, at one time, owned the treasure map.

Note from Big Lagoonie: LagOOnieville is an adventure story that keeps the action going.  Put some fun in you reading, and pass-on new adventures to the viewing public. They'll thank you for it, and you'll be glad you did it. So let a little of the LagOOnieville State of Mind seep into your soul, take a long break, pop a top or two, read the LagOOnieville script and try resisting the urge to get an old sailboat in the Caribbean and join the goodtime Lagoonies.
